We loved SO much music in 2015! Our Latin and Latino musical universe was as wild and wonderful as any year could be, with centuries-old traditions like mariachi and banda getting reinvented seriously multi-culti style a la Nueva York (Mariachi Flor de Toloache and Banda de Muertos), millennial traditions getting recreated for the electronic age (Nicola Cruz and his Andes Step) and eco-musical projects to boot (El Buho, Lulacruza and music to save South American birds from extinction).
