This week’s Beat Latino celebrates Mom’s around the Americas! From Cuba and Perú to Argentina to Mexico, Spain the USA and more lands, the praises of our Mothers are sung along to every possibly imaginable beat — from contemporary (the Afrocuban twins Ibeyi, the Argentinean indie songstress Paloma del Cerro) to danceable (Herencia de Timbiquí from Colombia, los Tigres del Norte from Mexico and the USA) to folk (Lucia Pulido from Colombia). Raise a toast, shake a tail feather and/or sing a song to celebrate Mother’s Day with Beat Latino!
